The College Football Playoff Committee has released the final rankings and pairings for the 2024 season. After a thrilling regular season filled with upsets and close calls, the top four teams have emerged to battle for the national championship.
"Georgia is the clear favorite, but the other three teams have all shown they can play with anybody," said ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit. "The semifinals are going to be epic."
"I'm proud of what our team has accomplished, but the job is not done," said Georgia coach Kirby Smart. "We have a lot to improve on before New Orleans."
"We're excited to be back in the playoff. We've got some unfinished business to take care of," said Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
The College Football Playoff semifinals are scheduled for December 31, with the championship game set for January 9, 2025. All eyes will be on Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, and TCU as they battle for the ultimate prize in college football.
