Drew Lock Makes No Difference As Giants Fall To Cowboys In Thanksgiving Dud

Drew Lock NFL Draft Projection: Raiders & Giants Among Best Fits

Lock struggled to find his rhythm throughout the game, completing just 22 of 34 passes for 190 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Giants rushing attack was also ineffective, totaling only 57 yards on 20 carries.

"We couldn't get anything going offensively," said head coach Joe Judge. "Drew made some plays but ultimately we didn't execute as a unit."

In contrast, the Cowboys ran for 158 yards on 32 attempts, led by Ezekiel Elliott's 110 yards and two touchdowns. Tony Pollard added 47 rushing yards and a touchdown.

"Our offensive line controlled the game," said Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy. "We were able to establish the run and that opened up our passing game."

Despite the offensive struggles, the Giants defense played well, holding the Cowboys to just 317 total yards. The Giants forced two turnovers, including a fumble recovery by Julian Love that set up the team's only touchdown.

"The defense kept us in the game," said Judge. "They made big plays when we needed them."

The Giants now fall to 4-8 on the season and face an uphill battle to make the playoffs. They will travel to Miami next week to face the Dolphins.

"We have to regroup and find a way to win some games," said Lock. "We're not giving up on this season."
