According to Williams, the relationship began to deteriorate in early 2022. "There were communication issues and differences in our values," she said. "It became clear that we were heading in different directions."
Williams claims that Allen ended the relationship via text message in May. "It was unexpected and hurtful," she said. "I was blindsided."
Williams expressed her disappointment and sadness over the breakup. "I thought we had a future together," she said. "It's been difficult to adjust to life without Josh."
However, she also acknowledged that the split was for the best. "We both realized that we weren't happy in the relationship anymore," she said. "We're both better off moving on."
Josh Allen has declined to comment on Williams' interview. A source close to Allen said that he respects Williams' decision to speak out and wishes her well.
Relationship therapist Dr. Emily Carter said that it's not uncommon for relationships to end in different ways. "Some people are able to maintain a friendly relationship after a breakup," she said. "Others need space and time to heal."
Williams said that she is focusing on her own happiness and well-being. "I'm taking time for myself to recover and move on," she said. "I have a support system of friends and family who are helping me through this."
As for a future with Allen, Williams said that she leaves the door open, but it's not something she's thinking about right now. "I'm just trying to focus on the present," she said.
