Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry put on a historic performance in Game 7 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Sacramento Kings, breaking the NBA record for points scored in a Game 7 playoff game with 48 points.

Curry's Record-Breaking Night

Curry exploded for 21 points in the first quarter, setting the tone for a dominant performance. He hit eight three-pointers in the game, including four in the third quarter, helping the Warriors build a commanding lead.

"I knew this was a big game," Curry said after the game. "I wanted to make a statement. I'm just glad we got the win."

Warriors Clinch Series

Curry's record-breaking performance led the Warriors to a 110-96 victory, securing the Western Conference championship and a spot in the NBA Finals.

"Steph was incredible tonight," said Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. "He carried us all night. He's the best player in the world."

Warriors Face Celtics in Finals

The Warriors will now face the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, which begin on June 2.
